Elisa Carozza-Kuhl at Nest Gallery

Elisa Carozza-Kuhl "Threshold D" 32"x36", oil on canvas, 2007, $1800

Elisa Carozza-Kuhl "Threshold C" 32"x36", oil on canvas, 2007, $1800

These two works represent a new direction for Elisa and are unique in the portofolio of her work represented by Nest Home Design and Nest Gallery. Forceful and dynamic landscapes that maintain a particular gentleness; these paintings convey an almost scientific query about unobvious emotional questions.

Elisa is an Oakland artist who has been routinely showing at Industrielle down near the corner of Grand and Broadway where her studio is. What a great little shop. We are big fans of her work and the store's collection.

We represent many of Elisa's work and if you want a copy of her digital portfolio, give me, Obi Kaufman/Art Director a call at 510-914-8364 or drop me an email at obi@nestgallery.com.

Joan Weiss and Nest Gallery

Joan Weiss,"Westfall", 24"x18", oil on canvas, 2004, $900

Joan's paintings of abstract landscapes are richly painted textural experiences. Her process of taking the essential elements in a horizonless landscape makes references to the color-field paintings that characterized classic midcentury paintings. Her thick application of oil paint produces imageless works that are consistant in mood and theme and always seem fresh and warm.
Nest represents seven of Joan's works of various sizes and pricepoints. If you would like a copy of her digital portfolio of paintings we represent drop me, obi kaufmann/Gallery Director, an email at obi@nestgallery.com

Rob Reiter at La Salle Rd, Oakland

Rob Reiter's amazing landscapes look great anywhere. We have a few featured in this location at different spots: one in the bedroom, two in the bathroom (one pictured) and two in the hallway.
Rob is the director of his own gallery in Berkeley called the Light Room and prints his own Giclees in a process similar to the one we use. We framed these images we are representing in simple white wood with a complimenting white mat. If you would like a close up of any of these images, I would be happy to send you one. They are all priced at $450.
